The premise
Earth observation has a review problem.
Satellites, drones, field cameras, and phones produce far more environmental imagery than people can examine. Important changes can remain unnoticed even when the underlying images already exist.
CleanSentinels explored how AI could help surface evidence of water pollution, forest loss, soil degradation, oil spills, and reef stress—giving people a better place to begin an investigation, not replacing the people responsible for it.
